Meet the California Queens

Annika Heieck,  is a driven and accomplished 11th grader hailing from Carlsbad, California.

Balancing her roles as a cheerleader, lacrosse player, student leader, and honors student, Annika embodies a spirit of dedication and excellence.

Looking ahead, she aspires to become a news anchor, with a clear vision of majoring in broadcast journalism at a prestigious university, ideally located in the heart of New York City. Beyond her academic and extracurricular pursuits, Annika is passionate about promoting inclusivity through her "Brave Buddies" platform, where she empowers high school ASB leaders to connect with elementary students, fostering understanding and acceptance of special needs students in all aspects of school life.
